How Good Decades makes money, in plain language — what an affiliate link is, and what it never changes.

What an affiliate link is
Some links on this site go to stores. If you click one and buy something, the store pays Good Decades a small percentage of the sale. Your price does not change. The store pays it out of their share, whether or not you arrived through our link.
Where these links appear
Only in Picks — our buying guides and product reviews — and occasionally at the bottom of an article where a product genuinely answers the reader’s next question. Every page with affiliate links says so at the top of the commercial content, before the first such link, not just here.
What commissions never change
Which products we recommend. The order we rank them. The downsides we name on every pick. Whether we tell you to skip a category entirely — which we do, prominently, in every guide, even though that section earns nothing.
What we never do
We never use health information — from any app, tracker, or quiz — to decide which products to show you. Condition-related pages carry no affiliate links at all, permanently. And we never publish a review implying we tested something we didn’t.
If anything on this page doesn’t match what you see on the site, tell us via the contact page. That mismatch would be a serious problem, and we’d want to know the same day.
Advertising and sponsorships
Good Decades does not currently run behavioral advertising or publish sponsored editorial content. If we introduce a paid placement, sponsorship, discount code, or other material relationship, it will be labeled clearly at the content itself in language that explains who paid or what was provided. A footer policy alone is never the disclosure.
Social media and newsletters
The same rule applies outside the website. A compensated recommendation, free sample, paid trip, sponsorship, or affiliate link in social media or a newsletter receives a disclosure in that message, close to the recommendation. “Affiliate link” by itself is not enough if an ordinary reader would not know that it means Good Decades can be paid.
